I’m a classroom teacher, learning designer, and the founder of Rainy Day Learning Lab, which is a fancy way of saying I love helping kids learn and helping teachers feel more inspired in the process.

Rainy Day Learning Lab was created to make learning feel more thoughtful, more creative, and more meaningful for students, teachers, and the spaces where learning happens. It’s built from years of classroom experience, a deep belief in student-centered learning, and a desire to design experiences that actually feel worth showing up for.

In my work as a teacher, I’ve seen how powerful it is when students are given the space to think, create, collaborate, and make sense of their learning in ways that feel engaging and personal. I’ve also seen how much more joyful and effective teaching can be when educators are supported with ideas that are both practical and inspiring.​

Rainy Day Learning Lab is where those ideas come to life whether through tutoring, curiosity camps, professional learning, and thoughtfully designed resources. Everything is created with care, intention, and a focus on helping both students and educators grow with confidence.

At the heart of it all, this work is about creating learning experiences that feel human, creative, and deeply meaningful for the students in front of us and the educators guiding them.
